Project narrative

On May 26, 2023, the Chinese government provided “love bags” to Tunisian children as part of the "China-Africa Hand in Hand to Warm Children's Hearts" hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Tunisia and the All-China Women's Federation of Tunisia. The “love bags” include school bags, stationery, and sports equipment. Close to 100 members of the Chinese medical aid team in Tunisia attended the event where they provided free health consultations and medication. The "China-Africa Hand in Hand Warm Children's Hearts" activity was started by Professor Peng Liyuan, wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, and the African First Ladies' Development Association to care for the health of African orphans. The events represent the friendship between China and Africa.
