Project narrative

On December 6, 2023, the Chinese Embassy in Mauritania donated gasoline-powered water pumps, hand-pressure sprayers, and other equipment and materials to the city of Kiffa, located in the Assaba region of southern Mauritania. The donation ceremony was attended by Chinese Ambassador Li Baijun and Kiffa's Mayor, Jemal Kebud, who jointly signed the handover certificate.
