Project narrative

On January 30, 2023, the opening ceremony for the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)'s Civil Aviation Master Planning (CAMP) Training Course ("民航总体规划培训课程") was held in Cuba. The course, funded by the China South-South Cooperation Assistance Fund (SSCAF), was implemented in cooperation with the Cuban Ministry of Transport. This one-week course targets middle and senior managers in the civil aviation industry from Latin America and the Caribbean, focusing on post-pandemic challenges in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of civil aviation master plans. The CAMP program is a global initiative organized by ICAO and supported by China to enhance civil aviation planning capacity in developing countries.
