Project narrative

From July 25 to August 14, 2023, the Chinese National Health Commission hosted a total of 24 trainees from Tunisia and seven other countries (Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Uzbekistan, Cambodia, and Nepal) for a "Cervical Cancer Screening and Early Diagnosis and Treatment Training Course" in Beijing. The training was organized by the National Health Commission's International Exchange and Cooperation Center. The purpose of the course was to provide trainees with exposure to China’s technology and best practices in the field of uterine malignancies. The trainees received work experience in screening, diagnosis, and treatment of cervical and endometrial cancer. The training included both theoretical training and practical operation components. The training course invited experts in the field of cervical cancer from Peking University People's Hospital, the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, the Third Hospital of Peking University, the First Hospital of Peking University and Beijing Chaoyang Hospital to give lectures to the students.
