Project narrative

On December 15, 2023, the Chinese government hosted an opening ceremony for the establishment of the Chinese Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Tunis, Tunisia. The creation of the center is part of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation's “Health Project” to strengthen health exchanges between China and Tunisia. The ceremony was attended by a Chinese delegation that included Gong Jianping, the Director of the Health Commission of China’s Jiangxi Province. The center is located in Mongi Slim Hospital and is intended to model traditional Chinese medicine.
