Project narrative

Sometime between 2008 and 2012, Sierra Leone's embassy in Liberia built a new embassy complex. According to the 2015 Annual Report on the Accounts of Sierra Leone conducted by the Audit Service of Sierra Leone, the Chinese Embassy in Liberia contributed US $1,204,609 towards the construction of the embassy buildings, which constituted 85% of the construction contract. The Government of Sierra Leone contributed US$180,691 towards the project. Construction was conducted by Dingjian International, which obtained the contract without undergoing a bidding process.
