On March 30, 2015, financial close was reached on a deal in which a syndicate of at least four lenders — Bank of China (BOC), Development Bank of Japan, Banco de Sabadell SA, and CaixaBank SA. — entered into a $62.02 million USD syndicated term loan agreement with TPW Petersburg, LLC — a Delaware-incorporated special purpose vehicle (SPV) Gestamp Wind Energy North America, Inc. a U.S. subsidiary of Elawan Energy, S.L., a Spanish renewable energy developer — for the 40.5 MW TPW Petersburg Wind Farm Refinancing Project. The proceeds are used to refinance the development, design, engineering, construction, operation and maintenance of a 40.5 MW wind farm project located in Boone County, Nebraska. The wind farm consists of 27 turbines GE 1.5 XLE model at hub height of 80 meters, and started operations in 2011.
