Project narrative

The China-Ethiopia Government Scholarship Program (2023-2024) provides full scholarships for Ethiopian students to pursue higher education in China. On August 24, 2023, a farewell party was held at the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia for the 26 recipients, attended by Chinese Ambassador Zhao Zhiyuan, Ethiopian officials, and scholarship recipients. The program aims to foster educational and cultural exchange, develop Ethiopia's human resources, and deepen bilateral relations between China and Ethiopia.
