Project narrative

On March 22, 2023, a ceremony was held for the donation of medicine and medical equipment with a total value of 4.16 million yuan to the China-Chad Friendship Hospital. Much of this equipment was ophthalmology related. The medical equipment was purchased by the National Health Commission of China, First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University, and the Affiliated Eye Hospital of Nanchang University. The equipment consists of neonatal and ophthalmology-related equipment and commonly used drugs and instruments. The Chinese Ambassador to Chad, the Secretary of State for Public Health of Chad, and the President of the China-Chad Friendship Hospital attended the ceremony. The donation is part of the China-Africa Counterpart Hospital Cooperation Mechanism.
