Project narrative

On November 23, 2023 Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Qian Minjian, visited the Prime Minister of the Lebanese Caretaker Government Mikati and informed him that the Chinese government will grant 1 million USD to help with resettlement of people displaced in southern Lebanon as a result of the Israel -Palestine conflict, specific uses for the money were not discussed. The Lebanese government's Social Affairs Minister Hajar and Reconstruction Committee Chairman Jisr were present. The cash donation was received on February 29, 2024.
