Project narrative

On November 30, 2023, a graduation ceremony was held for the Young Girls' Integration Project funded by the Chinese Embassy in Niger and organized by SongES Niger, an NGO focusing on public health, STD's, children, and good governance. The project was carried out between November 2021 and October 2023, and comprised sewing courses for women aged 15-30 from poor families or families vulnerable to HIV/AIDS or other STDs. The project was intended to support women living in conditions of socioeconomic vulnerability in the Niamey region of Niger. The Chinese Embassy also donated 24 sewing kits to participants of the Young Girls' Integration Project at the graduation ceremony (captured in Record ID #107983).
