Project narrative

On October 19, 2023, Chargé d'affaires Yu Xueyong attended the opening ceremony of the Chinese language training course at the Villa College and delivered a speech. Deputy Secretary of the Maldivian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Amin Javed Faizal and Villa College President Ahmed Anwar were also in attendance. Chargé d'affaires Yu said that the Chinese language training course is open to students from the Maldives' Ministry of Tourism, Customs, Immigration Bureau and other departments. The course is intended to improve the ability of Maldivian departments to communicate and provide better services to Chinese people.
