Project narrative

On January 4, 2023, the Charge d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Sudan, Zhang Xianghua, donated 100 Chinese language books on behalf of the Embassy to the Chinese Department of Alofoug College of Science and Technology for their departmental library. The donation included academic, cultural, and reference books, as well as magazines, periodicals, and dictionaries, and was handed over during the inauguration ceremony of the Alofoug College of Science and Technology's Chinese department library. The donation was received by the Dean of the College, Dr. Ahmed Majzoub, the Vice-Rector, Dr. Muhammad Ahmad, and a professor of Chinese Language, Dr. Mohamed Hassan Mohamed. The donation was intended to help educate Sudanese students in the Chinese language, strengthen ties between China and Sudan, and promote cultural exchange.
