On November 16, 2023, the Chinese consulate general in Bolivia donated training equipment to the “New Life” Juvenile Detention Center of the government of Santa Cruz. The donation included sewing machines, edge banding machines, electric saws, welding machines, lawnmowers, televisions, and other equipment for vocational skills training.
