On December 24, 2023, the Chinese Consulate-General in Santa Cruz collaborated with various departments of the Santa Cruz Provincial Government—including the Social Services Department, Gender Equality Department, Tennis Center, and the Montero City Government—to distribute Christmas gifts to underprivileged Bolivian children. The event took place ahead of Christmas at a venue organized by the provincial government.
