Full Description

Project narrative

On May 8, 2023, the Confucius Institute at the University of Liberia held the opening ceremony for its course on Chinese language and culture. The course, jointly organized with the Chinese Embassy, was to help applicants of the Chinese scholarship perform well on a training assessment that would be reviewed as part of their scholarship application. The course lasted a week and would seek to equip the students with elementary Chinese language skills as well as cultural literacy.
