Project narrative

On February 7, 2023, the Ethiopian state minister of Finance and the Minister Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Chinese Embassy signed an agreement for China to donate 161 million birr worth of emergency food aid to Ethiopia. The funds will be used for the delivery of emergency food assistance in Ethiopia and will benefit communities affected by conflict and natural disasters in the country.
