Project narrative

On June 12, 2019 the Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters donated $6,852.00 USD to the University of Michigan Ann Arbour for the University Confucius Institute. As recently as 2020, the university’s foreign gift disclosures to the Department of Education displayed these transactions, and have not refunded the donations upon closing the institute in June of the same year.
