Project narrative

On March 9th, 2023, the China Merchants Group held a ceremony to donate a minibus to Daryel Orphanage in Djibouti. The minibus is intended to aid in increasing the development opportunities and protection of the children by facilitating travel. The value of the minibus is unknown. Figures in attendance included Chinese ambassador Hu Bin, Djibouti Minister of Social Affairs and Solidarity Oloufa Ismail Abdo, First Deputy Speaker of the Djibouti National Assembly Safia Elmi Djibril, and President of the Djibouti Ports and Free Trade Zone Aboubaker Omar Hadi.
