Project narrative

On November 9, 2023, the China Medical Aid Donation Ceremony took place at the residence of the 23rd Chinese medical team in Uganda. The donation included a range of medical supplies, such as medicines, equipment, and other essential items. The handover certificate was signed by Tang Hua, leader of the Chinese medical team, and Dr. Emmanuel, Director of the China-Uganda Friendship Hospital. The event was attended by Fan Xuecheng, Minister-Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Uganda. The exact monetary value of the donation was not disclosed. This initiative is part of China's ongoing commitment to support Uganda's healthcare system, exemplified by the continuous deployment of Chinese medical teams and donations of medical supplies to the China-Uganda Friendship Hospital.
