Project narrative

On June 29, 2023, a donation ceremony was held at the Masulita Children's Village, an initiative of the Uganda Women's Effort to Save Orphans (UWESO). The event featured contributions from both the Chinese Embassy in Uganda and the Office of the First Lady of Uganda, Janet Museveni, who also serves as the Minister of Education and Sports and is the founder and patron of UWESO. The donation included school supplies, volleyballs, and footballs, aimed at supporting the children's education and recreational activities. The ceremony was part of the "Warm Children's Heart, a China-Africa Joint Action" program, emphasizing collaborative efforts to enhance the welfare of orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda.
