On October 25, 2023, Chinese state-owned enterprise China Zhenhua Oil Co., Ltd. donated school supplies to two primary schools near the East Baghdad oil field. The donation was made jointly with Iraq Central Oil Company, Baghdad Provincial Education Bureau, and Medain City Education Bureau.
