Project narrative

In November 2023, an earthquake hit Nepal in Jajarkot. On November 8, 2023, Chinese aid supplies arrived at Pokhara International Airport. CIDCA announced a batch of emergency humanitarian assistance worth 15 million RMB yuan (USD $2.07 million) which included shipments of 4,600 blankets and 600 tents worth 5 million RMB yuan (690,000 USD). The relief materials were from the China-South Asian Countries Emergency Supplies Reserve. The remaining 10 million RMB yuan (1.37 million dollars) will be spent on post-quake reconstruction.
