Project narrative

On June 7, 2023, the Chinese government delivered 3 million Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines valued at USD 54 million to the Government of Myanmar. The vaccines were delivered to the Yangon International Airport. The signing of the ceremonial cooperation documents for the donation was completed on June 8, 2023 at the Commemorative Signing Ceremony for the 73rd Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations. The ceremony was held in Naypyidaw.
