Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

From September 4 to 10, 2023, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), in collaboration with the Kathmandu Center for Research and Education, organized a seven-day capacity-building training in Beijing for 30 Nepali researchers, primarily affiliated with Tribhuvan University. The program focused on data analysis and scientific paper writing, with an emphasis on climate change research in South Asia. This initiative aimed to strengthen the research competencies of Nepali academics and scientists, enhance scientific cooperation between China and Nepal, and promote regional knowledge-sharing on environmental resilience. The program was part of broader educational and technical cooperation facilitated by CAS.
