Project narrative

On June 22, 2021, the Chinese Consulate General in Laoag donated 25 laptops and other unspecified equipment totaling PHP 1.8 million to the Chinese Learning Center at Mariano Marcos State University. At the Chinese Learning Center launching ceremony, Mariano Marcos State University President Shirley C. Agrupis and Chinese Consulate General Zhou Youbin signed a memorandum of agreement for the maintenance of the learning hub. The Chinese Learning Center is located at the Mariano Marcos State University main library in Batac, Philippines. Previously, on September 3, 2020, Mariano Marcos State University and the Chinese Consulate General reopened the Chinese Corner at the university library to promote the education of Chinese culture and language.
