Full Description

Project narrative

The Chinese government and the government of Bangladesh plan to construct a new hospital, North Point Medical College and Hospital (NPMCH). The dual hospital and college will cost 25 billion Bangladeshi takas (around 250 million U.S. dollars). The contractors and funding structure for the hospital is unknown. The hospital will start operation in the first phase and the medical college in the second phase of the project. On April 8, 2023, the construction of NPMCH is initiated.
