Project narrative

On September 27, 2023, the 2023 Mongolia Desertification Control Training Course hosted by the Chinese government held a closing ceremony at the Gansu Desertification Control Research Institute. 30 officials and technicians from Mongolia several departments attended the closing ceremony. The 21-day training program was started on September 7, 2023, at the Gansu Institute of Desertification Control to teach the 30 officials and technicians from Mongolia about China's experiences in desertification control, environmental protection and ecological preservation. The leaders of the two countries recently reached an important consensus on cooperating to promote Mongolia's "Planting 1 Billion Trees" plan. As part of the implementation of the relevant consensus, the Chinese government decided to hold 10 desertification control training courses for Mongolia, and this training course is the first one.
