Project narrative

On April 28, 2023, the Chinese Embassy in Ecuador donated 100 computers and printers to police in Ecuador, as well as a connectivity system aimed to improve cybersecurity measures. The monetary value of the donated items is unknown. The donation was received in a ceremony attended by the Chinese Ambassador to Ecuador and Ecuador's Minister of the Interior. The Minister of the Interior noted that these materials would be deployed in the cities most affected by crime.
