Project narrative

On November 21, 2023, the Chinese Consulate General in Myanmar, along with the Yunnan Association of Mandalay (a welfare organization organized by former Yunnan residents), donated daily food necessities valued at MMK 100 million to 13 charities in northern Myanmar. The donation included rice, soybeans, and cooking oil, and will be used to benefit the more than 2,000 elderly people, women, and children associated with the charities. The handover ceremony was attended by Deputy Consul General Zhang Wei, Chairman of the Yunnan Association of Mandalay Jiang Enti, Chairman of the Mandalay Myanmar-China Friendship Association Wu Bomin, and heads of the 13 charitiy organizations. The thirteen charities include: 1. School for Deaf Children 2. Women's Training School 3. Girl's Training School 4. Women's Vocational Training School 5. Child Care Center 6. YGW - Pathein Gyi Orphanage (Myin Sai Road) 7. YGW - Industrial Area Orphanage (2) (58 Street) 8. Aye Yeik Mon Girls Orphanage 9. Phansattay Orphanage 10. Man Taungsho Nursing Home 11. Chan Myae Thar Nursing Home 12. Chan Myae Sukha Gilana Nursing Home 13. YGW Htoo Ma Taung Nursing Home
