Project narrative

On September 20, 2023, the Jiangsu Municipal Government sent the 33rd Chinese medical team to Zanzibar, comprising 22 members. The team primarily consists of medical professionals from Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital and the Affiliated Hospital of Yangzhou University, including 2 chief physicians, 13 associate chief physicians, and 4 attending doctors. Of the team, 13 members were assigned to Naz Moga Hospital on Unguja Island, while 9 were stationed at Abdalla Mzee Hospital on Pemba Island. The team will serve a one-year term, concluding in September 2024, to provide medical care and support local healthcare services.
