Project narrative

In early December 2023, China Jiangxi International Economic and Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd, a state-owned enterprise, donated 50,000 Ghanaian Cedi to aid flood victims in the Lower Volta River basin of Ghana. The donation also included 20 boxes of oil, 10 bags of rice, and 6 boxes of stationary. The flood was due to the Akosombo dam spillage. The China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce also donated 300,000 cedis in cash and materials. Shenzhen Energy donated an additional 100,000 cedis in cash and 100,000 cedis in materials (captured in record ID # 108273).
