Project narrative

On October 11th, 2023, the opening ceremony for the 2023 Myanmar Modern Agricultural Technology Training Course, organized by the International Agricultural Research Institute of Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Myanmar Cooperation Office of the Ruili State-level Economic Pilot Special Zone Administrative Committee was held in Ruili, Yunnan Province. Both the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Myanmar Cooperation Office of the Ruili State-level Economic Pilot Special Zone Administrative Committee are directly under the Yunnan Provincial People's Government. Course participants include 5 trainees from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation of Myanmar, the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Myanmar Coffee Association, and 23 agricultural entrepreneurs. The training will include hands-on teaching and discussions. The opening ceremony was attended by officials from the International Agricultural Research Institute of Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, officials from the People's Government Office of Dahong County, and the Deputy Mayor of Ruili City.
