Project narrative

On January 30, 2023, the Chinese Embassy in Thailand provided a donation of THB 640,000 to the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation—a non-profit funded by Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The donation will support the Phratumnuk Suankularb School (Bangkok), Sanambin School (Khon Kaen Province), and Anuban Nakhon Sawan School (Nakhon Sawan Province) in improving their teaching hardware and software facilities and provide funding for outstanding students with families facing difficulties. Specifically, 240,000 THB was given to Phratumnuk Suankularb School and 400,000 THB was given to Sanambin School and Anuban Nakhon Sawan School, as well as other schools under the Foundation’s network in Khon Kaen and Nakhon Sawan. A total of 143 students from 13 schools in 2 provinces received the scholarship. The scholarship was part of the Patron Project, in which the Chinese Embassy and the Phratumnuk Suankularb School have jointly participated in since 2013. This was the first of two grants provided to the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation in 2023. The other grant was a scholarship was provided in December 2023 (Record ID 107483).
