Project narrative

Between July 1 and 3, 2023, the Chinese Consulate General in Chiang Mai held a emergency response training course for a civilian rescue team in Chiang Rai. The training was co-led by Mae Sai Guangming Foudation of Chiang Rai and Beijing Peaceland Foundation. More than 20 rescue personnel from Chiang Rai, Mae Hong Son, Phitsanulok, Sukhothai and Uttaradit province participated in this training. The training focused on rope rescue and practical skills tailored to the terrain of northern Thailand, aiming to enhance local rescue teams’ emergency response and safety capabilities.
