Project narrative

On January 18, 2023, the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia presented a pair of stone lions during a ceremonial blessing. The stone lions will be placed at the entrance of Petaling Street in Kuala Lumpur. During the event, the ambassador also visited local merchants, distributing Chinese New Year gift packages to celebrate the holiday. The gift symbolizes the strong bilateral ties between China and Malaysia, with hopes that the stone lions will bring health, prosperity, and business success, contributing to the economic recovery.
