Project narrative

On February 8, 2023, the Chinese Consulate General in Penang donated 60,000 Malaysian Ringgit and several books, including speeches by Xi Jinping, to support Han Chiang University College of Communication Center for Chinese Studies. The funds will be used to purchase books and launch four lecture series in 2023. Over the past four years, the Chinese Consulate in Penang has donated approximately 2,800 books, valued at 180,000 Ringgit, covering topics such as history, culture, the Belt and Road initiative, and contemporary Chinese studies.
