Project narrative

On April 10, 2015, the Chinese government ratified the provision of USD 465,713 in aid that would be used to help Djibouti manage the resettlement of Yemeni refugees after the outbreak of the war in Yemen in late 2014. The aid was given through the World Food Program's Advance Financing Mechanism, and distributed some time in May 2015. Moreover, sometime in 2016, the Chinese government gave more aid for the same purpose (see Record ID #107655).
