Project narrative

On February 26, 2023, the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia donated 250 sets of stationery, backpacks, as well as 250 eye exam and glasses vouchers, to children from low- to medium-income families in Kelantan state. This marked the first event of the Sunshine Growth Program (阳光成长计划), launched jointly by the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia and the Malaysia-China Friendship Association. The program aims to provide support to children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, helping them with essential school supplies and healthcare services.
