Project narrative

In May of 2023, the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Mechanism co-organized a tax-themed training with China International Development Cooperation Agency. The training began on May 16, 2023, and was intended to help developing countries improve their tax collection and management capabilities. The training was attended by 20 officials from 7 countries, including Uzbekistan and Ethiopia. The training was the second in a series of seven tax-themed trainings organized by the Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Mechanism and China International Development Cooperation Agency.
