Project narrative

On November 13, 2023, the Chinese government launched the first training to improve rural teacher quality in Vientiane. From November 13–26, 1,000 Lao teachers and school administrators will receive training locally, with an additional 2,000 to be trained in China. The project will be implemented for 3 years by Shanghai Education Publishing House Co., Ltd to help Lao create and meet national teaching standards.
