Project narrative

In May 2023, Chinese Consulate General in Istanbul awarded the Chinese Consul-General Scholarship to 49 Turkish students. An award ceremony was held for 20 students from Istanbul University on May 17, and a second ceremony was held for 29 students from Okan University on May 22. The scholarship is set up to encourage Turkish college students to study the Chinese language and culture. The monetary value of the scholarship is unknown.
