On December 5, 2019, the Chinese embassy in The Gambia donated two skip trucks, two pickup trucks, and an SUV to the Kanifing Municipal Council. The donation was made to strengthen the emergency capacity of the Kanifing municipality. The total value of the donation is unknown.
