Project narrative

On May 4, 2023, the handover ceremony of the Sri Lanka Love Village project was held in Kendagasmankada (Kenda). On the occasion of the opening of the Love Village, Hambantota International Port Group Co., Ltd. (HIPG) donated dry food packages to 100 villagers in Kenda Village. The Love Village was established to improve the well-being and livelihoods of the villagers and develop entrepreneurial and self-employment opportunities for the benefit of about 2,170 residents of the Mankada area of Kandagas.
