On November 30, 2023, the Chinese Embassy in Niger donated 24 sewing kits to participants of the Young Girls' Integration Project funded by the Chinese Embassy and organized by SongES Niger, an NGO focusing on public health, STD's, children, and good governance. The donation took place at the graduation ceremony for the Young Girls' Integration Project, and was intended to support women living in conditions of socioeconomic vulnerability in the Niamey region of Niger. The Young Girls' Integration Project (captured in Record ID #106412) was carried out between November 2021 and October 2023, and comprised sewing courses for women aged 15-30 from poor families or families vulnerable to HIV/AIDS or other STDs.
