Project narrative

On May 25, 2023, the Dean of the Southwest University donated 2CMIF-2 potato planters, 4U-90 potato combine harvesters, and potato virus rapid detection kits to West Kazakhstan Agricultural Technical University in Kazakhstan, at the "Belt and Road" International Potato Industry Development Cooperation Forum held by Southwest University. The "Belt and Road" International Potato Industry Development Cooperation Forum and the Upper Yangtze River Potato Germplasm Creation and Utilization Seminar took place from May 24th to May 27th, 2023, at Southwest University. The forum was attended by representatives from researcher institutes and universities from Kazakhstan, Russia, India, Egypt, Bangladesh, Iran, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Burundi.
