Project narrative

On February 18, 2023, the Chinese government donated 6.98 million litres of diesel to Sri Lankan paddy farmers for the Maha Season harvest. The diesel was distributed across the island at filling stations. 300,000 liters of fuel was to be distributed to the farming families of the Trincomalee district, helping over 232,000 farming households in preparation for the harvesting of Maha season rice.
