Project narrative

On January 21, 2023, the Chinese Embassy donated the final batch of essential medical supplies to Sri Lanka committed by CIDCA in May 2022. This last shipment included 1.55 million syringes of Recombinant Human Erythropoietin Injection (Epiao). It was shipped from Dalian Port, China, to Colombo Port, according to a tweet. This project is part of CIDCA's 500 million RMB humanitarian package to Sri Lanka committed in May 2022 (Record ID#98982). The first batch was donated to Sri Lanka in June 2022 (Record ID#99009); the second batch was donated in September 2022 (Record ID#99245); the third batch was donated in October 2022 (Record ID#100331); the fourth batch was donated in December 2022 (Record ID#98717); the final batch was donated in January 2023 (Record ID#108044).
