Project narrative

On April 12, 2023, the Georgian Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth announced that the Shandong Provincial Government would be providing scholarships to two Georgian students as part of the Foreign Students from International Sister Cities scholarship program. The scholarship was open to Georgian undergraduate students between 18 and 30, as well as graduate students between 18 and 45. Each recipient would receive RMB 30,000 to cover the cost of tuition, registration, on-campus accommodations, and health insurance at a Chinese university. The scholarship was intended to promote cooperation between Shandong and its sister cities. The application deadline was December 11, 2023.
