Project narrative

On July 5, 2023, construction began on Eko School, a primary school funded by Sinohydro. In attendance at the construction groundbreaking ceremony was Angolan Minister of Energy and Water João Baptista Borges. The school planned to have 12 classrooms and accommodate up to 840 students. Construction was expected to take one year. The monetary value of the school project is unknown. The school is being built in Eko, Xangongo, Cunene Province.
